MInerva Design Takes First P/1/2 Win!

Congratulations to Brendan Housler who won his first P/1/2 race by taking the sprint from a select group of five riders that powered away from a shattered peloton. The road race was part of a 3-day omnium that also included 2 criteriums. The road race win together with some consistent riding in the crits placed Brendan on the podium in third overall for the weekend while Drew Scoles continued to show solid form and placed 3rd overall in the category 3s and was 2nd overall in the U25 category.

May racing brings more podiums for MDC!

The Minerva Design Cycling Team continues to ride with strong performances throughout the month of May! Drew Scoles took the field sprint at the Turkey Hill Classic to place 4th, and the following weekend he took another field sprint at the Bristol Road Race to place 5th. Nick Zito placed 2nd in his first ever cat 3 race - the Syracuse Criterium. Brendan Housler continued his podium ways with a 3rd place at the Hollenbeck Spring Classic, a 3rd at the Syracuse Criterium, 3rd at the Syracuse Road Race, and 2nd overall in the Syracuse omnium. Next up: Empire State Games Qualifiers, Somerville, Full Moon Vista GP and the NY State Championships.
